Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel, this swage eye terminal delivers a permanent, high-strength termination for wire rope applications. The design features a precision-machined round eye at the top for secure attachment to hooks, shackles, or bolts, while the lower hollow cylindrical barrel accepts the wire rope for swaging. It is available for wire rope diameters of 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm.
Installation requires a hydraulic swaging machine to cold-form the barrel securely around the wire strands, creating a connection that meets rigorous industry standards for reliability and holding strength. This termination method produces a finished assembly with excellent fatigue resistance and a clean, professional appearance.
Ideal for gym cable systems, architectural cable railings, deck balustrades, stair railings, and light suspension applications.
IMPORTANT: For coated gym cables, the outer jacket must be cleanly stripped before swaging. The terminal must be swaged directly onto the bare steel wire rope, never over the coating.
