Copper Oval Ferrule

Manufactured from high-grade, malleable soft copper, these oval ferrules are designed for turnback loop terminations. Seamlessly extruded over mandrels and available in sizes from 1 mm to 20 mm, they provide exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly in outdoor environments when paired with stainless steel wire rope.

Unlike aluminum, which promotes galvanic corrosion when paired with stainless steel, copper actively prevents this reaction, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding conditions.

Each copper ferrule is tested to rigorous industry standards for consistency and load-bearing safety, and manufactured in strict accordance with EN 13411-3. When properly swaged using hydraulic swaging machine or manual tools, the completed termination achieves a minimum efficiency of 90% of the wire rope's rated breaking strength.

For our finished wire rope assemblies, we use 316-grade stainless steel wire rope with these copper ferrules for most industrial applications. For food and pharmaceutical environments, we use 316 stainless steel rope paired with 316 stainless steel ferrules to comply with sanitary requirements.
