Aluminum Hourglass Ferrule
High-grade aluminum figure-8 ferrule for permanent wire rope eye terminations. Available in sizes 1–16 mm. Manufactured in strict accordance with EN 13411-3.

Manufactured from high-grade aluminum alloy, this hourglass ferrule is designed for permanent turnback eye terminations on wire rope. Its figure-8 geometry holds the two cable strands parallel throughout the crimping process, ensuring consistent material flow and a uniform, secure termination.
Designed for use with galvanized or bright carbon steel wire rope, available for diameters from 1 mm to 16 mm, and manufactured in strict accordance with EN 13411-3. When properly swaged with matching dies, this termination achieves at least 90% of the rope's nominal breaking strength.
Ideal for crane sling fabrication, marine rigging, architectural cable railings, utility guy wires, cargo tie-downs, agricultural fencing, and general-purpose DIY applications.
Avoid with Stainless Steel Cables: aluminum ferrules must not be used with stainless steel wire ropes in wet or high-salt environments, as galvanic corrosion will degrade the aluminum and cause joint failure. (Use copper or stainless steel ferrules instead).
