Made from premium 304, 304L, 316, or 316L stainless steel, this ferrule mesh combines reliable strength with long-term weather resistance. The ropes are joined with swaged stainless steel ferrules, forming a firm, uniform diamond mesh with consistent joint strength. Grade 316 is recommended for marine and coastal environments due to its excellent corrosion resistance.

The diamond aperture geometry allows up to 90% airflow and natural light transmission. And unlike rigid welded panels, this wire rope mesh can be shaped around irregular frames and 3D frameworks, following complex geometries while keeping tension uniform. This make it suitable for stair and balcony safety guards, balustrades, architectural green walls, zoo animal enclosures, bird netting, and protective fencing.

The mesh is available with open or closed stainless steel ferrules for consistent joint strength and a clean, uniform appearance. Available in wire rope structures 1×7, 7×7 (6×7-WSC), 1×19, and 7×19 (6×19-WSC), with rope diameters from 1.0 mm to 5.0 mm.

Diamond openings are customizable from 20 mm to over 200 mm, measured at the standard 60° stretched angle. To customize a panel, please specify the mesh direction, vertical (A) or horizontal (B), along with the stretched width and height of the mesh and the required diamond opening size (W).

Custom panel sizes and edge treatments are available upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:
304 vs. 316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope: Corrosion Resistance & Applications?

304 is suitable for dry or indoor environments and general-purpose uses; 316 contains molybdenum (Mo) and offers superior protection against harsh chemicals such as salt water, acid rain, and alkaline well water, making it the choice for marine, coastal, medical, and food applications.

Q:
Stainless Steel vs. General Purpose Wire Rope: Which is Stronger?

For the same diameter and construction, a general purpose wire rope (typically 1670 MPa) has higher breaking strength than a 304 or 316 stainless steel wire rope, which typically 1570 MPa.

Q:
Which Wire Rope Material Offers the Best Corrosion Resistance?

Among common wire rope materials, 316 stainless steel offers the best corrosion resistance, followed by 304, then zinc-aluminum alloy coated, hot-dip galvanized, electro-galvanized, and finally bright carbon steel.

Q:
How to Correctly Test Stainless Steel Products?

Use test solution for a quick grade check, OES spectrometer for full alloy composition, and salt spray testing (ASTM B117) for corrosion resistance.
