The 180° Swivel Cable Gripper is a tool‑free hanging solution for quick and secure mounting on ceilings, sloped surfaces, or walls. It consists of a nickel‑plated brass body and a steel mounting foot. Fits standard 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm steel wire ropes and supports a safe working load of 30 kg (breaking strength: 150 kg, confirmed through our laboratory pull‑testing).
A central pivot fastener allows the gripper to tilt a full 180°, enabling it to adjust automatically to angled ceilings, pitched roofs, or horizontal cables between walls. This design eliminates side pull on the wire, reduces wear, and makes installation easier without extra brackets. Typical uses include displays, lighting fixtures, picture frames, mirror installations, and gallery wall setups.
An internal self‑locking mechanism lets you press to move the cable freely, release to lock it firmly in place. The holding force increases with the weight of the suspended object, ensuring a secure, anti‑slip grip that stays stable over time. This makes repositioning quick, safe, and simple, with no tools required.
